Berry Brothers No. 3 London Dry Gin takes its name from the home of Berry Brothers & Rudd, the oldest wine and spirit merchant in London. Their No 3 Gin has a lovely typical nose of Juniper with a nice viscous palate. Flavours and aromas of orange, cardamom and grapefruit, this Gin is simply perfect for making some of the most famous cocktails in the world, including the Martini and Tom Collins.
No.3 is the London Dry Gin distilled to a proprietary recipe of Berry Bros. & Rudd, London’s oldest wine and spirit merchant.
NOSE : Bright, crisp and fresh with an uplifting welcome of juniper.
PALATE : Juniper to the fore, supported by floral notes and spicy, warm cardamom. Plenty of citrus ‘zing’ complemented by the gingery spiciness of coriander.
FINISH : The earthy dryness of angelica kicks in.
“On the nose there’s an instant and welcome hit of piney juniper with citrus and coriander very evident. In the mouth the juniper develops into a crispness nicely balanced by a soft spiciness. A classic.”
Geraldine Coates - Author of The Mixellany Guide to Gin
As Britain’s oldest wine and spirit merchant, Berry Bros. & Rudd has traded from this same shop for over 300 years. It has seen many famous visitors pass through the doors, from Lord Byron to the Aga Khan.
THE PARLOUR & ITS KEY
One of the shop’s oldest chambers is the Parlour – in many ways, the inner sanctum of No.3 St James’s Street.
For centuries this is where Berry’s partners would come to sit together, eat and discuss business. Many great drinks originated around the parlour’s dining table.
The key on our bottle was inspired by the key to the door of the Parlour – a symbol of both our rich history and the great trust that customers place in Berry Bros.& Rudd to deliver the highest quality products and service.
