Chateau de Laubade XO – Bas Armagnac AOC – France
Mainly from the Ugni Blanc and Colombard varietals, complemented with Baco and Folle Blanche. A rich and shining amber colour. Multifaceted with a richness of prune, vanilla, cinamon, cocoa, orange peel, nut, toasted bread aromas. On the mouth: fineness, feminity and elegance. A finish of up to 15 minutes. Time has done its work.
The nose is uniquely intense and develops fine aromas of orange peel, roasted and grilled bread, completed by notes of cinnamon. Savory roundness and seductive complexity in mouth. Will perfectly pair with chocolate cakes and with a flambé pie prepared with the same XO. To be tasted as a digestive with friends & family.
François Lasportes, Cellar Master
GRAPES VARIETIES: Ugni Blanc and Colombard mostly and completed by the Baco and the Folle Blanche grapes. Aged from 15 to 25 years.
